I bought a radiator from Amazon prime. The wife’s minivan has spung a leak on the plastic end cap portion. I’ll be slapping it in later this week. It was really cheap only time will tell if it was a wise choice.

Good luck. My cheap Amazon radiator has lasted for two years but is starting to look pretty worn. I know others around here haven’t had nearly as good of luck though

Yeah the reviews were pretty mixed. Lots of people 5 stars happy to save money but a bunch with one star saying it only lasted 10 months. Hoping for the best and I think we are getting rid of it pretty soon as it’s pretty darn old and worn out.

If you unload the van before it lets go again: Genius.
If it blows and strands your family, or she cooks the motor trying to limp it home: Idgit.

Yeah fuck those plastic parts on radiators. On anything I care about I get all aluminum with brass parts.

I don’t have a lot of love for the TYC brand. in my research it looked like the same “store brand” radiator given a hundred names. Some people find success with them though so why not?

Yeah I’m in the TYC lasted less than a year club. Warranty replacment via rockauto though. So only out some shipping and coolant. No big deal.
